This set of two ''Pianissimo'' baskets were designed by Abi Alice in 2009 for Alessi. The gently twisting and layering of stainless steel results in an almost floral three-dimensional design. Alice wanted to give the ''Pianissimo'' baskets a harmonious composition with the intention to illustrate how the same fundamental geometries can be used to produce three different outcomes: a drawing, a painting and an object. The rigidity and stability of the baskets are a result of the laser welding carried out by hand. The baskets are produced in stainless steel, polished both internally and externally
These ''Pianissimo'' baskets are in a new and unused condition. Delivered with original packaging. The black ''Alessi'' brand at the middle of the baskets are stickers that can be removed if desired.
